Pleiades Technology (“us”, “we”, or “our”) owns and operates the backend data and processes to access the storages (also referred to as “Debby Link^TM”) that the Debby Notes^TM mobile app (“Mobile App”) uses. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users when they use the Mobile App.

We use your Personal Information for providing the means for a user to generate the needed credentials to access a dedicated private storage space that a user has been allocated through the sign up process. While using the Mobile App, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name (“Personal Information”). You may also be requested to provide email and/or mobile phone number as a means to provide 2-factor authentication of your identity.

Any Personal Information that we collected will primarily be used by us for identification and authentication in order to use the Mobile App and will not be shared to any other parties.

We might also make use of your Personal Information to contact you for any updates of this Privacy Policy and/or updates to the Terms of Use for the Mobile App as well as provide information for extension of our services. You can alway opt out of receiving promotional information from the email that you receive.

Item Description and Location Data

The Item Description and Location information that a user entered is saved in a dedicated and secure storage space reserved just for the particular signed in user. Each user’s storage space is isolated and identified by the credentials generated when the user signs up and subsequently signs in to the account. Each user can only access their own space with the corresponding security credentials.

To improve our services, we reserve the right to analyze the data entered for statistical analysis and extraction of commonly used descriptions of items and locations. Information will be anonymized and will strictly be for our internal use. No information will be shared with any other parties.

The security of your Personal Information is of utmost importance to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 11/1/2020 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which you will receive an email notification of and will accommodate future releases of the Mobile App.

We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check your email for Privacy Policy updates periodically. Your continued use of the Mobile App after we sent out any modifications to the Privacy Policy on future Mobile App updates will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
